Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to purchases from and use of the Simply Engrave online store. By placing an order or using this website, you agree to these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy.
Products and personalization
Simply Engrave sells personalized, made-to-order engraved products. Product photographs and previews are intended to show the general appearance of the item. Because engraving is performed on physical materials, minor differences in tone, placement, contrast, finish, and appearance can occur.
Photo engraving is generally reproduced in monochrome and can look different from the original colour image displayed on a screen.
Customer-provided content
You are responsible for the accuracy of names, dates, initials, messages, photographs, handwriting, artwork, and other content you submit. You confirm that you have the right to provide and use that content for the requested personalization and that it does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights.
You grant Simply Engrave limited permission to use customer-provided content only as reasonably necessary to create, process, fulfill, support, and resolve issues relating to your order. We may refuse content or orders that we reasonably believe are unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or infringing.
Prices, taxes, and payment
Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless the store or checkout clearly states otherwise. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, discounts, and other amounts are calculated or displayed at checkout as applicable. An order is not accepted until payment is successfully authorized or otherwise accepted by us.
We may cancel or decline an order where necessary because of payment issues, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing or listing error, inability to complete the requested personalization, or other legitimate operational reasons. If we cancel a paid order that will not be fulfilled, the applicable payment will be returned through the appropriate payment process.
Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Changes, cancellations, returns, remakes, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
Website and intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Simply Engrave website, branding, written content, graphics, and original store materials are owned by or licensed to Simply Engrave and may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission, except as permitted by law.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Simply Engrave is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or delays and events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, operations, technology, or legal requirements. The version published on the store at the time of your order will apply to that transaction except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to our business in Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
